Meet our Nurse

About Angela

Angela is one of the AMAZING nurses at Texas Family Birth & Wellness! She brings years of experience as well as a heart of gold to our birth center. She met Kristen several years ago when they were both being licensed as foster parents in the same community! They soon found out they had so many things in common as they talked about their faith, love for babies, mamas, and all things midwifery!

Angela's nursing career spans 15 years of dedication to women & children. She has worked as a Registered Nurse in Antepartum, Labor & Delivery, and NICU specialties. She has also supported mothers and families at a local birth center for six years as a birth assistant. Angela's ability to serve compassionately as well as remain calm in emergency situations has blessed hundreds, if not thousands, of families over her 15 year career. Her heart's desire for families is to allow space for natural labor and birth, intervening only when necessary. She is a fierce advocate for women and the midwifery model of care and is currently in school to earn her Master's degree in Midwifery as well.

Alongside her passion for women & families, Angela is a committed wife and dedicated mother of six children of her own! She enjoys serving in her local church and spending time with her friends & family. She keeps busy chasing around her teenagers & toddlers as well as advocating for all children in her community to have safe and loving homes.
